The KERN FKB 8K0.1 bench scale from Kern & Sohn's IoT line is designed for high-precision weighing in industrial environments. With a resolution of up to 80,000 points, it is ideally suited for reliably determining even the smallest weight differences, for example, in consumed gas, wear on mechanical components, rock samples, minerals, geodes, or precious metals such as silver. Despite its large weighing range, the scale boasts compact dimensions, allowing even heavy loads to be weighed accurately in confined spaces.

The robust die-cast plastic housing ensures stability, protects the sensitive weighing technology, and is designed for daily use in industrial environments. For precise measurements, the scale comes standard with a spirit level and adjustable leveling feet. A protective cover is included, providing reliable protection against dust and dirt.

In line with Industry 4.0 principles, the scale is equipped with the KERN Universal Port, which allows the connection of external interface adapters such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet. The adapters are simply plugged in, without the need to open the scale housing or perform any complex installation. This allows for convenient transfer of weighing data to PCs, networks, smartphones, tablets, laptops, or printers, while simultaneously enabling the external transmission of control commands and data inputs to the scale. The KERN KUP-13 extension box allows for the parallel operation of up to three interface adapters.
