UA4E – Future-proof UHF RFID reader with Android 13 and high-end connectivity
The UA4E is an industrial-grade UHF RFID reader with a state-of-the-art system architecture, designed for high-performance applications in logistics , RFID gateways , smart warehousing , and automated checkpoints . Based on the reliable CM710-4 module, the UA4E combines powerful UHF reading performance with the latest Android 13.0 platform and a wide range of interfaces.
The reader operates in the global UHF frequency range of 865–868 / 920–925 / 902–928 MHz according to the EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO 18000-6C standard . The transmission power is variably adjustable from 30 to 33 dBm , and the sensitivity is -84 dBm , ensuring precise and reliable RFID detection – even in environments with high tag density. The reading field can be flexibly adjusted via four TNC antenna connectors .
Inside, a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash storage makes the platform ideal for local processing, edge computing, middleware integration, or real-time data exchange. The integrated MicroSD slot offers additional storage expansion.
With modern wireless connectivity – including Bluetooth 5.1 (BLE) , 4G (LTE) , and Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax-ready) – the UA4E is also ideally equipped for future-proof, networked deployment scenarios. For wired connections, it features 1x RS-232 , 1x Ethernet RJ45 , 3x USB 2.0 (Type-A) , 1x USB Type-C , a USB Host , and GPIO . Power is flexibly supplied via DC 10–24 V or PoE/PoE+ . A 12 V/5 A power adapter is included.
