Chainway R2 UHF RFID Bluetooth Reader

The Chainway R2 is a powerful mobile UHF RFID reader specifically designed for professional data acquisition applications. With its ergonomic design, high read speed, and reliable Bluetooth connectivity, the device is ideal for use cases such as inventory, asset management, inspection, or warehouse management.

The reader uses a powerful UHF RFID module based on the Impinj E710 chip and supports the EPC C1 GEN2 and ISO18000-6C standards. This allows RFID tags to be read and written quickly and reliably. The maximum read range can be up to approximately 26 to 31 meters under optimal conditions, depending on the tag type and environment. At the same time, a reading speed of over 900 tags per second enables particularly efficient data acquisition even with large inventories.

The Chainway R2 connects via Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 to smartphones, tablets, or mobile computers and reliably transmits captured data to mobile applications or central systems. Additionally, a USB Type-C interface is available for data transfer and charging.

The device features an integrated 1.77-inch display with status indicators, as well as LED indicators and acoustic signals that show the operating status and connection. Optionally, the reader can also be equipped with a 1D or 2D barcode scanner, allowing classic barcodes and QR codes to be captured in addition to RFID.

With a replaceable 5200 mAh battery, the reader achieves an operating time of up to six hours in continuous RFID operation and a standby time of over 70 hours. The robust housing is designed for industrial operating conditions and can withstand drops from heights of up to 1.5 meters.
