Multi Gigabit Wireless Connections in 60 GHz Networks
The Cambium Networks cnWave V2000 is a powerful 60 GHz Client Node designed for professional broadband connections and backhaul applications. It supports the 57 to 66 GHz frequency range and provides an aggregate capacity of up to 3.6 Gbps. This is divided into up to 1.8 Gbps download and up to 1.8 Gbps upload capacity. With latency of less than one millisecond, the device is suitable for applications that require high data rates and fast response times.
The V2000 is based on 802.11ay technology and is designed for high performance cnWave networks operated by businesses, service providers and municipal network operators. Actual performance depends on distance, radio planning, local conditions and the selected network configuration.
Flexible Connections for PTP and PMP Networks
The cnWave V2000 can be used as a client in Point to Multipoint networks or for Point to Point connections. Within a cnWave infrastructure, it can provide a powerful connection to a Distribution Node such as the V5000.
The integrated antenna provides a gain of 34.5 dBi. Automatic beamforming with a scanning range of 10 degrees to the left and right and 4 degrees upward and downward simplifies alignment. This allows the Client Node to be flexibly integrated into different network topologies.
2.5 GbE Ports with PoE Support
For wired network connectivity, the Cambium Networks cnWave V2000 features a 2.5 GbE PoE input. An additional 2.5 GbE output with PoE according to IEEE 802.3at is also available. With a suitable power supply, this connection can provide both network connectivity and power to an external device such as a WiFi access point or surveillance camera.
The version offered here is supplied with a 30 W PoE power supply and an EU power cable. This means that the required power supply for basic operation of the Client Node is included. If an additional external device is to be powered, the PoE supply must be dimensioned accordingly.
Rugged Outdoor Housing for Demanding Installations
The V2000 is designed for outdoor use with IP66 and IP67 protection ratings. It can operate at temperatures ranging from minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. The manufacturer also specifies resistance to wind speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour.
The compact design and integrated antenna enable space saving installation on suitable poles or building structures. This makes the outdoor Client Node suitable for permanently installed wireless links in commercial, public and municipal network environments.
Centralized Management with Cambium cnMaestro
The Cambium Networks cnWave V2000 can be centrally managed through cnMaestro. The platform is available as a cloud solution or for local deployment and enables configuration, monitoring and management of deployed network components.
Administrators receive a centralized overview of devices and connections. Features such as Zero Touch Provisioning support efficient deployment and simplify the operation of distributed cnWave installations.
