Large Format Panel PC for Kitchen and Industrial Applications
The FEC KP-9792W is a rugged 21.5 inch panel PC designed for professional applications in hospitality, production, logistics, retail and other demanding working environments. The offered configuration combines the Intel Core 3 N355 processor with 8 GB of memory, a 256 GB M.2 SSD and Linux.
This makes the system suitable as a kitchen monitor for digital ordering processes, a production display, an information terminal or an operator panel for business applications. The large display provides a clear overview of extensive information and supports workflows where multiple orders, process data or status messages need to be displayed simultaneously.
Full HD Touch Display for Operation in Moist Environments
The 21.5 inch TFT display offers a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Orders, production data, digital checklists and user interfaces can therefore be displayed clearly and efficiently.
The capacitive touchscreen supports operation with gloves and when moisture is present on the surface. This is particularly useful in kitchens, production areas and other working environments where conventional touch displays can quickly reach their limits. Depending on the selected version, the display is available with 250 or 500 nits.
IP54 Protection for Demanding Work Areas
The complete device meets the IP54 protection rating and is therefore protected against dust and splashing water. This construction supports use in areas where moisture, contamination and regular cleaning processes may occur.
The FEC KP-9792W is designed for an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. This allows the panel PC to be used in warmer working environments provided that the specified operating conditions are observed.
Powerful Hardware with Linux
The Intel Core 3 N355 offers eight processor cores and a maximum clock speed of 3.9 GHz. Combined with 8 GB RAM, it provides a reliable platform for kitchen management systems, browser based applications, production software and digital information systems.
The 256 GB M.2 SSD enables fast system startup and short access times for applications and stored data. Linux provides a flexible platform for individually developed software and integration into existing IT infrastructures. FEC lists Linux as an available operating system option alongside various Windows versions.
Interfaces and Flexible Mounting
For network integration, the panel PC features a Gigabit Ethernet connection. Three USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port and a serial RS232 interface enable the connection of suitable scanners, sensors and other peripheral devices.
WiFi and power supply via PoE can be added depending on the selected configuration. The VESA 100 × 100 mounting interface allows the KP-9792W to be installed on a wall, support arm or suitable mounting system.
